This project involved removing the majority of the load bearing walls within the basement area of a three storey town house to create a large open plan space for kitchen, dining and living. The upper walls were supported on new structural steel. A new entrance door  was formed into the basement from the front garden area. The utility room was upgraded and sash and case windows replaced with double glazed sash and case windows by Blairs of Scotland. The bathroom was completely modernised to for a shower room.
